On the site of Villa Berkel, in Veenendaal, Netherlands. The dark woods, making it important to get the most possible light to create. But the more a glass house holds, the more difficult the border between inside and outside - between private and public - to monitor.
The plot is at odds with the road divided into three long strips. The bottom strip to the south is reserved for the garden, the middle strip is home to the villa itself and the most northerly stretch includes the opening of the house: there are the driveway, the parking and the entrance. This land classification is the view of the parts of the house that we prefer to keep private limited.
